Richmond is full of fantastic places to get married, and Pembroke Lodge is a fantastic place for me to work as a Surrey Wedding photographer, and more importantly for you to get married.
Pembroke lodge is split into two wedding venues, the Russell suite upstairs, which has room for about 70 guests and the Belvedere downstairs which has room for around 140. Both are stunning and the quality, especially of the food is superb.
Behind you you have the magnificent,wild beauty of Richmond Park, with its wide open spaces, stands if trees and protected vistas over St. Paul’s and the rest of London. In front of Pembroke Lodge is the drop of Richmond hill and superb views of South West London and the Thames. If you don’t want to take the time away from your guests to go into the park proper, Pembroke Lodge is set in its own grounds and these are stunning as well and as the best views over South West London are from the terrace of Pembroke Lodge itself, you don’t miss out on those truly icon photographs.
You can either choose to get married in one of the suites here and then stay for your reception, or get married in one of the local churches and then travel here for your wedding breakfast and reception.
Its worth being aware that the ground of Pembroke Lodge, like the rest of the Park are open to the public and although people will never get in the way of some fantastic wedding photographs, the terrace cafe in particular does get very busy.
