Richmond seems to have more then its fair share of great wedding venues, and Orleans House Gallery is another one. Situated right on the edge of Twickenham and Richmond Orleans House is set in fantastic gardens right by the river Thames. and over onto Ham meadows in Surrey.
Weddings take place in the magnificent baroque Octagon room, overlooking the gardens. The floor of the room is chequered and a string quartet looks suitably at home in that sort of setting. The whole room is seriously stylish and will reflect your wedding perfectly.
Orleans house gallery holds about 60 guests for your ceremony. The gardens outside can only be described as stunning and make for a great location for your photographs after the ceremony. There’s just no need to go any further away, and of course we can come back into the Octagon room as well for some more if you’d like. The room, and the floor are simply stunning.
When your ceremony has finished why not wonder into the gardens for drinks, and then onwards to one of the many Richmond hotels or restaurants to celebrate.
As the name implies Orleans house gallery also houses a gallery of modern art – so should your guests feel inclined to do so, they’re certainly very welcome to wonder round and enjoy the art.
To have a look at some photos from recent Orleans House gallery weddings then take a minutes to view Anne and Gordon’s or Sarah and Kieran’s weddings here.
