Saturday saw me head into London to photograph a wedding at All Souls Church in Langham Place. We then onto Levant for the wedding breakfast and Queen Mary’s undercroft at the Greenwich Naval Colleges for the evening reception. All over the city and what better way to be transported then by route master bus for the day .

Second shot for the very talented Iain Gomes and many thanks to him for inviting me along for the day. Anyway a few photos, and a little narrative for you. Enjoy the photos.

Teddington Family Portraits

I really enjoy doing these and they show just how versatile a mobile studio can be, and some of the advantages of having portraits photographed while in the comfort of your own home. All I need really is a 2m by 2m space and a power point (although bigger makes life easier). Claire and Iain’s Clandon Park wedding

Happy new year, my first post during 2012 so I’m only a few days late in wishing that . Anyway at the end of last year Claire and Iain got married at the magnificent Clandon Park near Guildford. It started the day snowing, but by the afternoon in had turned into one of those fantastic, clear, December days that are fantastically beautiful, but it was mighty cold.

Claire organised this whole wedding in just 6 months from Iain proposing. I think getting a wedding like this organised in that time is seriously impressive going.

I first met Iain when I had a sensible job, so I was really pleased to be asked to photograph his and Claire’s wedding. For a bit of a change for this year’s weddings I’m going to say a little about each photo. Please do comment if you like the idea. Enjoy.

Where to start? – 2011 has been a great year as a photographer with a whole lot of fantastic photos taken and I’ve got to work with some really fantastic people as well. I think my photography has got better and better and the people I’ve shot have been a really big part of that. I’d like to think I’ve gained something from everybody I’ve worked with and I hope you get a flavour of them from their photos.

I was going to limit it to just my favourite wedding photographs as they’re such a big part of what I do, and I really enjoy them as well, but whilst weddings are a very big part of what I do, they’re not the only photographs I take by any means, portraits, boudoir and even some commercial work all play their part in what I’ve done this year.As well as all that I’m going to through a few personal photographs into the mix as well. I completed the challenge of completing 1 photo every day for 365 days and I’m kind of proud of that as well. I’ve tried to say a little about what makes each photo special to me, and without further ado, please enjoy the photos.

Claire and Iain’s wedding at Clandon Park through one of those magnificent winter sunsets that only December can manage. We took full advantage for one of my favourite photos of the year.

I love this photo of Kunle and Kaz at the Four Seasons Hotel. Everything about this wedding sums up the best bits of London for me – I know its why I photograph weddings.

My favourite photos often tell a story, or just capture an emotion. The sheer joy of this photo of Martina and Warren’s London wedding is fantastic

Boudoir Photography

I’m really pleased to add boudoir photography to the things I offer and these photo shots are now available to book. This is a fantastic way to have some photos taken that are either just for you, and you will feel fantastic, or for you to share something super sexy and very personal with the man in your life.He’ll love them.

Throughout your boudoir session a professional make up artist is always there concentrating solely on your photo shot, and making sure that you look, and feel fantastic. Boudoir photo shots either take place in your home, in a hotel you’ve booked or in the studio and in common with the rest of my photography your photo shoot will be natural, elegant and uncontrived, we’ll simply photograph you at your very best.

Allow between 2 and 4 hours for your photo shoot, plus a little time for make up before hand, but theres absolutely no need to rush anything, after all, it is your session and it shouldn’t be rushed. After the session the photos will be edited to my usual high standards and stored in a secure online gallery for you to view, and either (depending on the package you choose) 10 top quality 10″ x 8″ prints, a 16 page 14″ x 10″ stunning quality boudoir album or a magnificent framed photograph from the photo shoot. If you choose an album I’ll design it for you her in Twickenham and you’ll get to see it and approve before I order it.
