1, Spring Terrace

The registry office in Richmond is known as 1, Spring Terrace, if your getting married at any of the Richmond licensed venues you’ll come here to book and meet your registrar before the day. 1, Spring terrace is right in the middle of Richmond, but with its grade II listed status, the georgian building does feel like a little oasis of calm. Its fantastically decorated in shades of green and cream and is perfect for small, intimate ceremonies.

Its gardens are set back and secluded and you do feel a million miles away from the hustle of Richmond just a few moments walk away. The gardens make for the perfect spot for some intimate and quiet photos, of you, and your families. The tallest tree in Richmond is straight outside, which is perfect for confetti photographs, and to shelter under if the weather is less kind.

From here most people head on to one of the restaurants or hotels in Richmond to celebrate, and to dance the night away. For a touch of class you could always head for The Bingham hotel, or for something smaller and more intimate some of Richmond’s great restaurants are superb.
